Rose cut Stud/Post Earrings feature luminous green Tsavorite, with faceting enhancing the color of these beautiful gems in the Garnet Family. We chose a pair and craft smooth Bezels to encircle the seeming abyss of color. The smooth bezel form nicely contrast the faceted gems. 14kt Yellow Gold Bezel, Posts and Back option also available.
Size: Tsavorite Studs are approximately 4mm in diameter and will sit on the earlobe, held in place with Sterling backs, or 14k gold depending on your selection. About the Faceted style: Rose cut is done on a flat backed stone, the facets on the dome of the gem, done in a circular geometric pattern. A gemstone cut we love originating in the 1500's, becoming very popular in the Edwardian era, before the dominating Brilliant cuts of the later 1900's came into vogue.
All pieces will arrive in a velvet pouch and T and Brie signature box. All, proudly made by hand in T and Brie's studio in the Hudson Valley region of New York.
