Pearl Rosebud Necklace, Sterling, June Birthstone

An ode to the simple yet powerful image of an emerging bud in Springtime, our Pearl Necklace is crafted using delicate 1 mm Rolo chain with our own crafted S hook clasp joined to the chain with coordinating button Pearls. Our own Sterling leaf tag will dangle from the pearl at the clasp.

Pearls, Nature's first gem, have been used as an adornment for centuries. They were one of the favorite gem materials of the Roman Empire; and the 1500's, in Tudor England, was known as the pearl age. They are associated with Birthdays in June and historically with matrimony.

Handcrafted delicate Sterling Petite Rosebud with Sterling Capped, wire wrapped Pink, White or Grey Freshwater Pearls will dangle lightly just below the neckline at 16" inches, or can be a layered necklace crafted on a longer chain.

We antique our Sterling pieces and then lightly hand-brush them to a gleaming matte finish, to accentuate the details, imparting a subtle elegance. The Pearl Bud is capped with Sterling leaves and measures approximately 1/2" inch, or 12 mm, including loop onto chain.
