Moonstone Ladybug Earrings, Antiqued Sterling
Crafted from Sterling Sheet Metal and formed into little domes of the popular beetle, the familiar shape found in many homes & gardens. Each is bejeweled with a luscious and luminous Adularia Blue Flash Moonstone Cabochon, a birthstone for those born in the month of June.

Ladybugs have distinguished themselves as a beneficial insects in the garden, as they munch on tiny invasive species that damage crops. Throughout folk history in America as well as England, they are seen as harbingers of good luck.
These contemporary Nature Earrings are cast in small batches from the originals that I create by hand. All of our work is designed, created and handmade in our mother daughter studio in the lower Hudson Valley region of New York.
