We give our pieces a patina, here black enamel, accentuating the details and creating a striking contrast, finished by hand-brushing to impart a matte sheen to the Gold, exuding an understated elegance.
- These solid 10k Gold Earrings are approximately 7/8" long, with Posts and 14k Backs or crafted with Ear wires and plastic Stoppers. Please make your selection from the drop down menu.
- The Gemstone cluster will hang just below the earlobe if the Posts option is chosen,
- with Ear wires the gems will dangle slightly longer.
Gemstone composition: Rectangular faceted tubes of Labradorite, a stone treasured for it's remarkable color, surrounded by Peridot, mixed with Citrine, Tanzanite, Iolite, Garnet with a few tiny Grey FW Pearls.
10k has pure gold in its composition, it is an alloy. Gold alloys including 14k, 18k and 22k are made by mixing other metals with the soft pure gold to increase durability. The amount of gold in the alloy is measured in karats: 24-karat being pure gold, and quite soft. 10k is an affordable pure gold option that is the most strongest and most durable of the gold alloys.
