Handcrafted and designed by Teresa, our Firefly is beloved by many as it captures the unique beauty of the glowing beetle so beloved form our childhood. Here a Sterling Firefly crafted on 2mm Black Leather, cut to your desired length.
We wrap the leather ends with Sterling wire and attach our own made hook clasp or a Sterling Lobster Claw style clasp with or without a, inch of dangle chain, choose from the listing menu.
The Sterling is antiqued using a natural patina, and then the unique amulet is lightly hand brushed for a matte finish, creating a found treasure feel. A unique amulet to connect one with all things magical about summer evenings and hopefully delight and please for many years to come.

- Our Sterling Spiral wrapped ends are handcrafted as are our hook clasps.
- We can add links of chain for length flexibility, ending with a faceted bead complimenting your Cabochon Gem choice.
All of our Gems are natural and variations occur, though we chose only the finest for our finished works standards to be maintained.
Often called the Evening Emerald, the shimmering, pale green Peridot, an August birthstone, is commonly associated with spirituality and self-expression. It is also believed that the stone has the power to ward away nightmares, bestowing peace and progress in one’s life. The crystals of Peridot are formed deep within the earth’s crust and makes their appearance through volcanic activity. Traces of the olivene gemstone, have been found in ancient Egypt, where in ancient times, this vast Country was the primary source of the Peridot. An interesting revelation is that the green gemstones described to be worn by Queen Cleopatra originally thought to be Emeralds, are now considered to have been Peridot.
Each piece is signed & dated and comes tucked in a pouch, in a decorative T and Brie gift box, with our handcrafted Firefly card describing our inspiration and a bit of Firefly lore for unique, meaningful gift giving.
All of our work is designed and handcrafted in our mother daughter studio in the verdant lower Hudson Valley region of New York, where Nature is lush and full of surprises.
