  Our Queen Bee earrings crafted with elegant Ear wires will buzz just below the earlobe with their outstretched wings and spiral bodies.

  These unique 1" wide earrings are crafted from recycled 14k or Yellow or 14k Rose Gold wire and sheet, and cast in limited production, completed and stone set by Teresa.  Designed when Teresa moved from the city to the country and became inspired by the many life forms teaming in the yard.

 Golden Queen Bees can be antiqued black in the details of the wings, or left with a light gold hue in those recessed designs.

  The subtle feminine form of these earrings is inspired by Bees association with women, in many different cultures, throughout history. In Greek mythology, bees were believed to be the souls of priestesses who had been in the service of Aphrodite during their lifetimes. In Ancient Greece, at the temple of Aphrodite at Eryx, priestesses were called “Melissae”, which means "Bees,”  Aphrodite herself was called Melissa, the Queen Bee.
