Delicate Sterling Petite Starflowers dangle sparkly faceted Iolite briolettes, often referred to as the water sapphire for it's soft cool blueish- purple color. The name iolite comes from the Greek 'ion', which means violet. Iolite has been praised throughout history, for it's unique quality called pleochroism, in which the gem exhibits multiple hues in one small section.

Size: These lightweight floral earrings are dainty, and approximately 1" long, with ear wires, they dangle just below the lobe.

Native American wildflower, Starflower (Trientalis borealis), is most appropriately named not only for its looks when blooming, but for when the blossoms drop intact, appearing like floral fallen stars on the Forest floor.

Sterling pieces have a natural patina, and are hand-brushed for a finish that accentuates the details and imparts a matte sheen to the metal, exuding an understated elegance.

T and Brie pursue a passion for elevating commonplace things to a place of reverence and we enjoy close observation of forms we perhaps take for granted in our everyday.

All pieces will arrive in a velvet pouch and decoratively boxed, and we are happy to wrap for you just let us know! Each piece is signed and dated and hand stamped Sterling.

We craft our treasures in our mother-daughter studio, in the verdant lower Hudson Valley region of New York. Our inspirations come from the Forest, our yard and our explorations to the City.
