Designed in metal from Teresa's drawings, a true artistic rendition of these magic creatures, and handcrafted from sterling sheet metal and wire, and designed to dangle long alongside the face. The insect's details were incised and chased with traditional metalsmithing techniques. The Sterling is given a natural patina to highlight the designs, and the gemstones: understated, elegant and dramatic.
Size: Our largest Dragonflies, these Statement earrings have a 1 1/2" wingspan and are approximately 2" long, crafted with long, elegant ear wires. The Sterling is lightly oxidized (darkened) creating dramatic creatures exuding an understated sophistication.
Earrings are signed & dated and stamped, Sterling, and arrive in a pouch, decoratively boxed, with a handcrafted card describing the inspiration for these earrings and a bit of insect lore, along with simple care instructions.
