Crafted from different gages of thick Sterling wire, from a drawing I did when I lived in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, NYC. A unique piece that I worked weeks on to create, this smooth cuff, has rectangular cogs protruding, intermittently. I then cast my unique creation in order to have limited multiples of this piece.
T and Brie are intrigued by the intricacies found on the city streets, in forms of manhole cover rims, bicycle gears, machine shop gears, working forms found down in the subway, in pulley systems in construction sights. The simple, extremely important design of the gear intrigues, it's shape can be seen in several T and Brie works.
Sterling pieces are given a natural charcoal patina, and hand-brushed for a finish that accentuates details created and imparts a satin sheen to the metal, exuding an understated elegance. Elegant and classy a unique bracelet for a unique man.
Each piece is made to order and is signed and dated and stamped Sterling.
