We selected this delicate Scrub Oak leaf to be cast in Sterling, then designed this necklace around it's subtle beauty. Crafted using 14kt cable chain and our own hand crafted 14kt S Hook Clasp and Eye, I have intermingled, Labradorite, Citrine, Tanzanite & Peridot beads, on Sterling wire. Our 14kt Oval Tag is also attached at the beaded clasp.

" I am greatly influenced by nature, and will occasionally cast a piece directly from the environment- one that is strikingly beautiful. This is the case with this subtle earthy, elegant piece. It is a Scrub Oak leaf, that I found on the beautiful dunes of Wellfleet, on Cape Cod. This diminutive member of the Oak family (Quercus ilicifolia) forms dense under stories beneath the ubiquitous Pitch Pines of the Cape, creating a wildlife-friendly thicket and is thus very important to the health of the shoreline. The familiar leaf shape, in it's small scale surprised and delighted me." Teresa de la Guardia
